The catalyst present in the product enables quick and instant removal of oxygen from the feed water. The products remove oxygen and also passivate the system metal to prevent corrosion.

Boiler Catalyzed Oxygen Scavenger in Powder Form

Chemtex’s Boiler Catalyzed Oxygen Scavengers in Powder Form are catalyzed oxygen scavenger (powder) based on catalyzed sodium sulfite. It helps to instantly remove oxygen from the boiler feed water by converting itself to sodium sulfate.

Dosage and Method:-

Chemtex’s Boiler Catalyzed Oxygen Scavengers in Powder Form should be dissolved with water in a separate tank with slow agitation and dosed continuously to the boiler feed water line after the deaerator. The dosage varies with feed water temperature. It is dosed exactly as per the dosage rate and method of MAXTREAT 3100.
