Boiler oxygen scavengers are of various types depending upon the type and capacity of the boiler. These can be based on catalyzed sodium sulfite, catalyzed potassium sulfite, catalyzed sodium bisulfite, catalyzed hydrazine hydrate, carbohydrazide etc. The catalyst present in the product enables quick and instant removal of oxygen from the feed water. The products remove oxygen and also passivate the system metal to prevent corrosion. Chemtex’s Oxygen Scavenger surpasses the performance of other oxygen scavengers such as Elimin-ox, Nalco 1700, Nalco 1710, Nalco 1720, Nalco 1721, Nalco 1722, Maxtreat 3100, Maxtreat 3100L, Maxtreat 3200, Maxtreat 3220S, Indion 166, etc. |

Chemtex’s DEHA (Diethyl Hydroxyl Amine) CAS No.3710-84-7 Based Boiler Oxygen Scavengers are very effective and superior. DEHA based oxygen scavenger provides outstanding protection against oxidation corrosion along-with excellent boiler system internal metal passivation. Chemtex’s DEHA based boiler treatment chemical can be used as a direct replacement for hydrazine hydrate in any boiler up to 1800psi or 127kg/cm2 pressure without the associated health and safety hazards, and handling precautions. Di Ethyl Hydroxyl Amine is volatile and alkaline, and does not contribute TDS or ammonia to the boiler system.
Dosage and Method:- Chemtex’s DEHA Based Boiler Oxygen Scavengers can be used in boilers of any pressure and can be fed into feed-waters. Total dosage of D.E.H.A is based on the total of Dissolved oxygen level and required product residual. Please refer to your CSL service engineer for exact product dosage. Key Features & Benefits:-
